Screw it. Sometimes I cannot find the Grace.
- My bro will likely end up legally divorced well before I do. And I really wish I could kick the ass of his former wife. All the way back to Cuba.
- This weather is shitty. Shitty, shitty, shitty. Torrential rain today. And yesterday. And nothing near what could be considered ‘hot’.
- The Toronto city workers strike has reached the 35-day mark. No garbage pick-up means dumps have been established in parks and local playgrounds aren’t cleaned. No wading pools. City-run daycares and day camps aren’t happening. No Centreville.
- I have to spend this afternoon/evening with my mum’s sister and her family. These people annoy the crap out of me. Well, not my male cousin. But they should start saving for therapy now because they treat the poor kid like crap and it’s only a matter of time before he goes postal.
- Motherlode posted a letter about a family situation that is much like my own. The comments disgust me. What is with all the suggestions with fighting for custody of the (grand)kid? Is it reasonable to take a kid away from his mother because he moves every few months and his mom is choosing not to have a relationship with her father and his wife?

Hey, I read your blog a lot, but I’m really bad at replies. I want to thank you for being so honest about what you are going through, it helps a lot, and I want you to know you are not alone. I love your blog and your philosophy on life. Hang in there and when i can be more specific, I may have questions about using a sewing machine for you…I want to learn how to use one but remember almost nothing from the 6 week class I had to take in 6th grade. You should post pics of the skirts and pillowcase. God knows I need all the help I can get.
Have a good night. ~Susan
